A General Endorsement

Gen. Wesley Clark

Wesley Clark is spreading a message of a new American patriotism. He wants to protect American freedom, not curtail it. Clark does not believe in John Ashcroft’s idea of freedom. He believes in the freedom to disagree with our government and that decent is patriotic and not un-American.

Contrary to what his critics say, Wesley Clark has a plan for America. He proposes a three-part, $100 billion plan to create American jobs in the next two years and he proposes a plan to make health care more modern, accountable and affordable for American families.

Clark proposes the creation of a Civilian Reserve. The Reserve would call upon volunteers with unique skills during times of crisis without increasing bureaucracy.

Clark also has a plan to save $2.35 trillion over ten years. The plan reduces the deficit and frees up money to invest in priorities like education and health care.

Wesley Clark clearly stands out above the rest of the Democratic pack as the candidate who can take campaign 2004 straight to George W. Bush and send him back to Texas. He is a new breed of Democratic thinker that can not only put the Democratic Party back on track, but the nation as well.
