Act 2, Scene2
New York Democrats: But soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Hillary is the sun.
Arise, fair sun. Flash Republicans the moon.
They are sick and pale with grief
That thou art more popular than they.
Tis our senator, O, it is our love!
O, that she knew she were.
She speaks yet she says nothing, what of that?
Her presence is enough pleasure.
We are too bold. Tis not to us she speaks.
To us she does just listen.
It is to the stars in LA that she speaks.
Yet the brightness of her words does shame those stars. Hillary:
Ay me! New York Democrats: She speaks. O speak again, bright angel! for thou art
As glorious to this day, in our New York state,
As a winged messenger from heaven. Hillary: O New York, New York! Where fore art thou New York?
Deny thine own reps and choose my name.
Choose me for this and be sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Southerner. New York Democrats: Shall we hear more, or shall we speak at this? Hillary:
My home state is my enemy;
What is an Arkansan? It is not a hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to me. O be from some other state!
What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So would New York if called Arkansas...
And we know how this story ends.

I personally enjoy Clinton humor. He's created an endless line of possibilities with his foul-ups. I'm always on the lookout for a good Clinton joke. ...

Do you have any sense of humor at all? I'm reminded of "Blond Bombshells Berate Bill", and the fact that the liberals on this forum can't even recognize satire and humor. ...

Of course, Joel. But the cause of all the deaths (and the dynamics of the story) is the conflict, not the love. Frank's analogy hasn't got the conflict, so his suggestion of a tragic ending does ...
