Christmas for Kids on the Web

It's hard to believe Christmas is almost here...AGAIN. Well, if you find the time to take a break from your holiday shopping, here are some great places to visit online with your kids:

At Grandpa Tucker's website, you can find a whole sleigh-load of holiday poems and stories including funny limericks like this one:

Horsing Around

There was a young lady named May
Who was taking a ride in her sleigh.
She ran out of snow,
Her sleigh wouldn't go.
Now her horse pulls an old Chevrolet!

For some really unique games and activities, Granny Gumdrop's Christmas House http://www.iola.com/christmas/ is a must-see! One of the best parts is the holiday joke section, which contains great zingers like this:

How did Rudolph know Santa fell out of the sleigh? He felt a rein-drop.

Dean and Nancy's Christmas Page at http://www.ptw.com/~dumptv/holidays/chri... features Holiday Recipes, Christmas Crafts, Gift Ideas, Poems, Stories, Jokes and even Christmas Movies

For some real high-tech fun, Read the online interatiave story Red Boots for Christmas at http://www.redboots.org/ Read along with the electronic storybook or view pictures of the characters.

I would also like to take a brief moment to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season, both online and off.
