Ready the troops:
Stand up on your guard!
We are marching
Into the backyard!
Is that a big brown frog
Jumping and dancing
High off the ground?
No, it's T.J. the dog
Barking and prancing,
Spinning around.
Watch out for the pit
That David dug
He is hiding it
Under a rug! There are bushes and trees
All over the giant place.
Watch out for the web-
And the spider on your face!
Get me a tall ladder-
We'll climb to the top of the tree.
It is by the adder;
It is by that snake that I see!
Break formation, troops
Roll on the ground!
Watch out for dog poops
Made by the hound.
Let's jump in the wagon
And go for a ride.
We'll outrun the dragon
There's nowhere to hide!
Let's go faster and faster
With David pulling the load.
We need much extra gas fer
Our David the great big toad!
Hey, I know what to do:
Let's play a game of tag!
David's gonna get you
Before he starts to lag.
Hurry, run really fast!
You need to be quick
So you won't end up last.
Whew, we are beat;
Not another shennanigan-
Let's go and eat;
We can feast on some ham again.
