A reader wrote to inquire about the U. S. Copyright Office. It's a good site to visit just to see what's new, particularly if you're involved in international copyright issues.

Another site could pay off big if you've got the credentials. The National Endowment for the Arts offers poetry fellowships to "published creative writers of exceptional talent." Applications for FY2001 are accepted through March 14, 2000.
