Writing Query LettersWhat I've found from using this technique over the years is that most of the time, even people who are not interested in that particular play will give me their name and phone number, which I file away for the future. Most of my queries are similar, though most of the time I'm offering a single play. And sometimes I may include my resume to let them know what other works I've had produced or published. Whatever technique you employ, just remember that a query costs a fraction of submitting an entire script and helps focus on those people who have the greatest interest in your script, increasing your chances for acceptance.
