The Field (the Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe) - A Review

So it turns out we're ripe for a major upheaval in our view of the universe - time for a paradigm shift. Hang onto your seats, everybody. This is going to be an interesting ride!

Delving into the "coming revolution," Lynne McTaggart takes us to the edge, where science and faith meet, and we find out they're not so very different after all. As we move through her chapters, we are taken on a journey into a new realm, where we find "Light in the Darkness" and "The Sea of Light," finally to discover we, ourselves, are "Beings of Light."

McTaggart takes us down, down, down, into the world of the cell, where we learn about the vibrations of the universe, and how we are "Resonating with the World." But that's just the beginning.

On we travel, into the world of the mind where we learn we are "The Creative Observer," even "Sharing Dreams" with others. We of "The Extended Eye" are living in "The Endless Here and Now" of existence. "But is there any practical way to apply this new information?" you ask!

"Of course!" our author answers. Let's move on to the idea of "The Healing Field," for instance. Or, how about listening to the world around us by reading the "Telegram from Gaia?"

This is a collection of ideas teetering on the edge of reality. It reflects the latest advances in critical scientific thinking, and the remarkable new messages we are gaining from a universe that turns out to be infinitely surprising, and willing to communicate.

McTaggart's book is delightful! The ideas are accessible. As a matter of fact, I can't remember reading another that so clearly explained the cutting-edge science of the SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device), for example, or the history of DNA research.

So why is science finally "catching up" to spirituality? Who knows...maybe its time has come. And where will this investigation take us? Will mankind learn how to transport ourselves across apparent space and time by learning to manipulate our vibratory nature? How exciting the future looks when seen from this perspective. I myself will be long gone when we reach that point, or will I?

Turns out my energy is expected to go on and on into a future now hidden behind a veil. So maybe I'll be around in some form to see the changes when they come, after all. Want to join me?
