My Changing Perspectives on War

We cannot stop them with talk, especially not when they are known liars who will say anything to promote their incomprehensible causes. Incomprehensible? Yes. Despite the pleas I have heard for understanding the Taliban and negotiating with them about Bin Laden, I ask how one can understand madmen when he or she is not mad in the same fashion? Quite simply, one cannot. The things these people have done are incomprehensible to decent human beings.

As a decent human being who always thought that war was wrong, I have to say that I fully support this war. If I didn't, I don't think I would be a decent human being.

If you don't support this war, I urge you to take the time to read, watch, and listen to a variety of informational sources to learn about various perspectives, not just the ones that support your current viewpoint.

War might or might not be wrong, but in this case, it is necessary. Wisdom and blessings to those who are out there fighting it.
