The Ring Song of al-Andalus

NOTE : Del Marbrook's stories draw from a rich and varied storehouse of experience. He has been a reporter and bureau manager for The Providence Journal and an editor for The Elmira (New York) Star-Gazette, The Baltimore Sun, The Winston-Salem Journal & Sentinel and The Washington Star. Likewise, he's acted as the executive editor of daily newspapers in Ohio and New Jersey. In his long and busy life, Marbrook has worked as everything from a soda jerk and elevator operator to a theater concessionaire and night club photo technician. He served briefly in the merchant marine and then in the U.S. Navy during the 1950s.

Marbrook now resides in Germantown, N.Y. with his longtime wife, Marilyn.
