Meadow Rue (Thalictrum)

Thalictrum minus is an exception. It is from chalky limestone grasslands as well as damp meadows, making it the most versatile Meadow Rue. Also, T. delavayi is much hardier, growing in the Alpine meadows and scrub of China, and doesn't share the moist and marshy nature of it's cousins at all.

How to Increase Meadow Rue
Start seeds in spring or late summer. Divide in the spring. After 4 years a Thalictrum could be divided, but probably won't need it til after 5 or 6.
