Perennial Article Index

© Jojo Sigurgeirson

As of April 23, 1999, this topic changed it's name from Urban Gardening to Perennials. Many of the Urban Gardening articles were about perennials, but from this date forward all of them will be about perennials in one form or another.

This page lists all the perennial-related articles I've written so far. First you will find them in alphabetical order by latin name. If you don't know the latin name, check the following list, where plants are listed alphabetically by common name. Following that, you will see a selection of articles on different topics, including design ideas, seasonal tips and specific perennial growing techniques, such as dividing and taking cuttings.

As time goes by, this list will grow, so if you're looking for information on a particular plant or group of plants, this is a good place to look. Eventually, I hope this list will run the gamut of perennials in cultivation, and perhaps even hint towards perennials that aren't well-known but deserve to be grown in gardens more.

If there is a particular perennial you would like information on, and you can't find it here, send me an e-mail. I might even dedicate an entire article to that plant.
