Fiddling With Files!
is worth having a look in here occasionally. You may have file associations set for programs that are no longer on your system (perhaps you tried a shareware program, did not register it, and have therefore deleted it). Some de-installation programs will "tidy things up" when they leave, but lots do not!
Next week we look at some Internet terms. What is generally meant by things such as ftp, http, URL's?
