Prepare a fresh fruit salad with chunks of pineapple, sliced strawberries, melon balls, and grapes. You can either serve it in a pretty, glass bowl, or in a hollowed-out watermelon half. A vegetable salad is also good, but opt for something a little different. I once made a carrot salad with raisins and pineapple for a bridal shower, and it was a big hit. Set out candy dishes filled with honey-roasted nuts, chocolate mints, and chocolate-covered raisins.
Lastly, have some luscious dessert, or better yet, a table set with two or three different desserts. Cheesecake with strawberry topping, pineapple upside-down cake, and a plate full of lemon bars would make a beautiful arrangement.
You're helping the bride to celebrate a wonderful time in her life. Whatever you do, relax and enjoy this special time with her.
