Easter will be here before you know it. It is a holiday not only with important religious meaning, but an introduction to the wonderful season of spring! And just like the Easter Bunny, himself, I too, have gathered some goodies in a basket for fun ways to celebrate this special holiday!

Easter Brunch: Host an Easter Brunch for your family this year. Serve breakfast casserole, homemade waffles with fresh fruit, coffee cake, quiche, and assorted rolls, and juices. Here are a couple of great links to wonderful brunch recipes:

Decorating:

Use your best white or solid pastel dinnerware. Wrap silverware in pretty Easter/springtime fabric napkins. Secure using pretty polka dot pastel fabric ribbon, adding a small silk flower. Place wrapped silverware on top of plates. For a child's placesetting, you could add a chocolate bunny sucker, wrapped in cellophane instead of a flower. For a centerpiece, place a bunch of daffodils in a beautiful vase. Fill clear glass bowls with jelly beans and scatter them on the tabletop. Dress up your front door with a beautiful Easter wreath. Plan some fun activities for the kids, see: http://www.itsapartyfullife.com/easter for some great Easter ideas for kids, such as, hosting a children's Easter party, Easter Egg Toss game, as well as, instructions and information on a fun Easter Mexican tradition.

You could also set up a table for Easter Egg decorating or another Easter craft. See Oriental Trading for great Easter craft kits:

Here's 'hopping' that you and yours have a wonderful Easter holiday!

early this year, so it is time to start thinking about it for sure.

I had a brunch last year and since you just put the idea in my head again, will probably do it again this year. I enjoy cooking ...
