Holiday traditions and partiesAsk each guest invited to bake up at least a half dozen cookies for every guest. For example, if 6 guests are invited, bake 3 dozen cookies -Of course, you can have everyone bake more or less, depending on how many they want to go home with. Have each guest choose a type/types of cookie that they want to make. Make sure that everyone knows to bring a container big enough to transport them home in. We usually have one person bring the cutout cookies, and we all decorate them together during the party. (This is always fun). Serve finger food, (again, each of the guests can bring a dish). You will want to get a babysitter for this party, as you can imagine how chaotic it can be kids + cookies + mess = aahhhhahhahah.. and what a nice time to catch up with friends. Make Christmas memories with your family and friends. You will treasure them for years to come.
