Anna's emotional and physical possession by Jacob was linked to the memory of Mina. When Mina was in possession of Anna, the young woman's demeanor changed. When she saw the Blessed Sacrament, she spit and vomited.

Theophius ordered Beelzebub to allow him to talk to Jacob. He asked when the father had joined the legion of demons. Reply: the day he joined them on hell. The demon also said he thought the question was silly.

Another voice appeared, which was deep and coarse. The voice denied being Jacob and revealed himself to be Judas Iscariot, the former Apostle. He said the reason why he was a possessing demon was to urge Anna to commit suicide so that her soul would join them in hell. The conversation was accompanied by spitting and vomiting and a curse.

During the days of the exorcism, there was limited coherence, another hallmark of Breakpoint. There were rambling words and yelling. Anna tried to physically harm herself. Her abdomen and extremities were hard. Her face was distorted and emaciated and often flushed with blood.

Father Steiger, the parish priest was the major target of the demons' abuse. Steiger should never have allowed the exorcism to take place in his parish. He was threatened that he would pay for this. The demons would turn his parish against him. He would have to leave in disgrace and shame on Friday.

That Friday, Steiger was as to give the Last Sacrament to a farmer's wife. He prayed for a safe journey. But, as he was about to drive on a bridge over a ravine, he lost his sight and the car plowed into a railing and stopped just before it would have fallen into the ravine.

The steering wheel had broken, but the priest only had minor bruises. He saw a doctor, then returned to the convent. When he saw Anna, one of the demons was triumphant, claiming to be the cause of the accident.

When the parishioners heard about the accident, they gathered money and got Steiger a new car. The priest was traumatized by the accident and wanted to get rid of Theophius, Anna and the exorcism.

The exorcist continued with the rite. Major and minor demons were being exorcised. The Stages are the Clash and Expulsion. The voices that prevailed and were the most coherent were those of Beelzebub, Jacob, Mina and Judas Iscariot. While this was happening, Steiger could not sleep without disturbances of threatening noises. He was traumatized night and day.
