Letters from Readers

December I started having "episodes." My brain seemed to be racing, every thing gets louder, faster and generally mare intense. I if was lying in bed while it happened My blankets would feel hard. It wasn't until the month of January that my mother became aware of these "episodes." My regular doctor made me do a questioner, this only proved that I had no anxiety. I then had test's done at the local hospital, an EEG and a MRI with dye. Nothing was detected with these test's. I was then put on Zoloft. After that didn't help I was referred to Akron children's hospital to the head of neurology. I had a MRI, catscan and a stress EEG. They proved that there was nothing wrong with my brain. The doctor said that these episodes sound like partial complex seizures. So I was put on Tegratol. Well, it has been four weeks and these mystery "episodes" are still occurring. What should I do? Do you have any suggestions to what these might be? Thank You.

Karen, Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, start all over again. We all fall sometimes-we may lose a job, gain those unwanted pounds back, or feel the pain when a relationship ends. But each new day offers another chance to give ourselves the gift of hope that htings will be better in the future. We realize that we don't have to measure our lives by how often we fall. Rather, we can measure our growth by how successfully we pick ourselves up---and get back in the dance.

Email me if you want to talk-I'm always here. Jeannie
