Activate the easter egg easter egg

Launch the Welcome application again and see that it now has a spinning Palm VII

To see the PalmVII with text do the following on a Palm VII:

Activate the easter egg easter egg
Run the Welcome application and see text on the screen of the spinning Palm VII

Palm.Net PQA

The Palm.Net PQA has two known easter eggs: Project Eleven credits and open any URL.

To view the Project Eleven credits do the following:

In the Palm.Net PQA tap all the way to left about three pixels from the bottom of the screen (you should see the square highlight if you do it propertly)
See the list of contributers to Project Eleven, the internal name for the Palm VII

The Project Eleven credits screen has its own easter eggs (how cool is that!):

To see a thank you do the following:

Copy the text of the credits screen and paste it into a new memo in MemoPad
You should see "Thanks Adam Tow!"

To see pictures of a few team members do the following:

Tap on a pixel slightly above and to the right of any of these names: Joe Sipher, Steve Elliot, Scott Lincke, or Ed Vertatschitsch
View that person's picture and tap on the title bar to view his title

Note: Josh Forman wrote a PQA, pqapeek, that directly links to the Project Eleven credits and the four pictures if you are having trouble finding the correct pixel to tap.

To use the open any URL easter egg do the following:

Activate the easter egg easter egg
Open the Palm.Net PQA
Tap four times in rapid succession over the Calculator silkscreen button
Tap the Menu silkscreen button
You should see a new Page menu
Use the Page|Open URL menu item to open any URL

Note: This easter egg will also work in other PQA applications. Also, if you do not have unlimited Palm.Net service be aware that using this easter egg could get expensive.

Continuing the Hunt

Now that we've looked at easter eggs in system applications, let's search for easter eggs in other applications. Some other applications with easter eggs include:
