One of the most popular features is the support for icons. You can associate different icons with different types of appointments. The icons allow you to tell at a glance the type of activity scheduled, even in the weekly timed and monthly views. Icons are easy to use; just attach a note to each appointment and supply a short code representing the desired icon. Datebk3 comes with a selection of icons, and there are several applications available if you want to create your own.

Datebk3 is highly configurable and contains many other features. It is available in six languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Japanese). Datebk3 is shareware and cost $20. You can download an evaluation copy that remains fully functional for 45 days. After 45 days some functionality is disabled after the 15th of each month.
