Spotlight on Freeware: Other GamesMulg Mulg by Till Harbaum lets you navigate a marble through various mazes - but beware the bottomless cliffs. Mulg contains many of the expected features of a maze game like hints, switches, and single directional squares. Mulg comes with 32 levels, and there are two level editors for Windows. By far the coolest feature of Mulg is support for a Tilt Sensor. With a Tilt Sensor, Mulg will recognize the movements of your Pilot and move the marble accordingly. Eleven out of ten on the coolness scale! MineHunt by 3Com is my favorite implementation of MineSweeper for PalmOS. One of the four freeware games provided by 3Com, MineHunt lets you search for mines in an 11x11 grid. When you tap on a square, it tells you how many of the horizontally, vertically, and diagonally adjacent squares contain mines. The game ends when you tap on a mine or clear out all squares that do not contain mines. You can lock out squares that you know have mines by tapping on them with the up or down arrow pressed. MineHunt provides four levels: easy, intermediate, more difficult, and impossible. Easy hides 10 mines on the board, intermediate hides 20, more difficult hides 30, and impossible hides 60 mines. MahJongg by Ingolf Kuebler is an implementation of the tile removal game known as GunShy, Shanghai, or MahJongg Solitaire. Remove pairs of tiles that are completely uncovered and have at least one side (left or right) free. MahJongg provides 7 different layouts and undo and hint buttons. There are many other freeware games available for PalmOS. Check out the games section of your favorite download site to see which games are available.
