Cave Bears and the Devil's Cave


Cave Bear Skeleton
Despite the large size and ferocious appearance of the cave bear, it probably had the same sort of omnivorous diet that modern bears have, feeding on meat, berries, nuts, or whatever was available. Some paleontologists believe that it was a vegetarian.
