There are several religious and social festivals celebrated by Pakistanis throughout the year. Eid-ul-Fitr, a very auspicious religious event, is one of such festivals, which marks the end of fasting month of Ramadan. Local events such as Basant, basically an Indian kite-flying ritual, in Punjab is also very popular among all sorts of people. Christians, one of minorities, openly take part in their religious festivities as christmas and easter.

The diverse culture is the main attraction for tourists coming to Pakistan as well as the rich ancient history. Though not much famous in world arena still adventure-seeking people around the world take it as a favorite resort.
