Oktoberfest Beers and German Potato Salad

Orange amber in color with malty flavor. The malt and hops balance each other out well, giving a malty flavor with a light fruitiness in the finish. For food pairings the brewery recommends hearty fall foods -- like soups and stews. Or try it with a spicy roast pork or grilled swordfish.

The Rest of the Beers
There are scores of other Oktoberfest beers available to sample. If you're fortunate enough to live in an area with local Microbreweries try their seasonal brews and compare them with the larger commercial beers. They may not be totally true to style but I'm sure you'll find that they are very drinkable! Check out Rate Beer. This is a great website for beer reviews in addition to information about where to find beers.
