Magickal Tools

E. The cup represents the womb and is used to hold the consecrated wine for ceremonies.

F. The pentacle is used to consecrate and bless items. It is a disc upon which a five-pointed star is engraved, etched, drawn, or otherwise represented.

G. The censer is used for burning incense.

H. The besom is a broom, one of the objects most connected with witchcraft. Its use is to sweep the consecrated area in which the ceremony or magick will be done. It isn't to sweep the actual unwanted matter in the circle, but the negative energies and influence.

I've only covered the most common tools above. There are many more which I haven't touched on. Those who work magick also deal with polarities. These polarities are expressed in terms of gender. Tools B, D, and H are male in polarity and E is female. Those not mentioned are non specific. I've listed several references below to further you knowledge in these areas and others with regard to paganism/wikka.

Witches Bible Compleat, Janet and Stewart Farrar
Modern Magick, Donald Kraig
Of Witches, Janet Thompson
Embracing the Moon, Yasmine Galenorn
To Ride a Silver Broomstick Raven SilverWolf
