3) Consider laying off the more serious study for more lighthearted fun learning. From Science Projects to writing their own songs to baking there are plenty of fun things to do that still teach learning. Focus on those for a while and give the heavier studies a rest. While they are having fun it will free up more of your time to decide how your going to handle studies during the hotter days of the Summer. Here in the south Summer can be like winter. There are just some days you don't leave the comfort of the four walls of your home. Plan for nature walks and camping in June with visits to your local national and state parks. By the middle of July everything here starts getting to hot to breath so we hide inside and go back to working on school. It allows for us more time to play in the fall and Spring when the weather is perfect for it.

I hope these tips help you as you move through these days of distraction and the reawakening of the earth. Your children are waking up as well. Enjoy it while it you can.
