Energy and Perception Part 6
Of course working in groups gives a feeling of commonality and doesn't leave you feeling as alone as you might working by yourself. Like everything in this world being a solitary or a member of a group has its pros and cons. But, this is why personal work is usually handled by the individual and universal or global work by the group. It isn't always the case. In something like say a healing ritual, the more people you have the better it can work.
Reiki believes that all illness has an emotional base. When you look at it from that perspective, all healing rituals become almost a form of intervention. Let us help you with the emotional baggage so you can stop letting it manifest in a physical form whether its Cancer or an addiction. Intervention works much better when there is a group of people saying we care about you enough to do this than it does when one person is saying I care enough about you to do this. To let the person feel loved on all levels, it takes people from all walks of life who love the individual on different levels.
But, ultimately, it is about the Love. For rituals such as this whether it is a group or individual doing the healing one must always remember that Crowley's Law is the only Law. Love is the Law, Love under will. Through love of the person who is getting the healing, in conjunction with your will or desire that they become better, you can effect great change. But, you have to make sure your motives are pure. If you're doing it because your life will be easier once its done, don't do it. Stay out of it. Let someone else do the work. If you're doing it because you truly want to see this persons quality of life improve regardless of how it will effect you, then you can create a great energy for healing and change. In a group or alone healing rituals without love do not work. They must be selfless acts of kindness. As long as they are selfless acts they will have the desired effect no matter how many are involved in the healing.
Energy and how we perceive it determines the outcome of all we say and do. How we react and interact to the world helps shape and form the individuals we become.
