The first looks at how energy affects us on the mundane level. I have already gone into this a little bit, but I want to dig a bit deeper. As I said before, we are all connected on a silvery web. A decision I make today could ultimately have consequences upon someone in India I have never met. How? Through the effect of the silvery web. Ultimately this power was given to the Tower Card in the tarot. Let me explain.
Say one day you're walking down the street and you trip over a young boy on a bike. On the back of that bike, he has tied to his bike a small pot. The pot comes lose from its ties and falls crashes to the ground shattering into a thousand pieces.
On the other side of the world in India is a Grandmother who is fighting for her life. She is very sick and close to death. She has been told her grandson, who is in America, is sending her a very special gift. She waits until her body just won't wait anymore and she dies thinking that her grandson never did send that special gift. Why? Because while he was on his way to the UPS office to get it boxed and shipped, you rounded a corner and ran into him knocking his special gift to the ground. To this young boy this would be the tower card raining down upon him. A catastrophe that was out of his control that left him believing his grandmother died never knowing how much he loved her. This same chain reaction could have been changed if he had simply remembered to buy a box and send it out with his postman.
Everyone knows these things happen. But, no one thinks about them. People fear the power of the tower because what is going to happen is out of their control. But, in truth, it never is truly out of their control until the last minute. The young boy could have also avoided running into you if he hadn't taken the route he took to get to the UPS office. It isn't until the last possible minute that the events become unchangeable. That in itself is the very power of Magical energy.
