Events were taking place, however, that lead to an end of the Kray expansion. A confrontation was in the near future that would begin a chain of events leading to the downfall of the twins and their organization. Some of the same people that had dealt with the twins and were involved in their rise to power would be ready to knife them in the back or at the very least refuse to provide any aid when the twins would need it the most. This confrontation with the Richardson Brothers would signal an end to the Krays and begin a bloodbath of events that would aid in making them legendary.
