Making Wise Choices or........
I also visited the Mercato Centrale in Florence and was so impressed with the quality and assortment of vegetables, cheeses, meats, fish, pastas and grains. It is such an eye opener to wander by stall after stall of these foods that glow with freshness and almost call on you to stop and sample and buy. Prices are a lot less than in the shops as is the same at Boroughs Market in London and it is nice that the aroma of the fresh produce wafts around the area.
Unfortunately, MacDonalds and a few other fast food places and their accompanying stink can be found in the busy, rather ugly touristy areas around by the station in Florence, and Oxford Street in London but if you do not go there, you will not have to put up with them. Choose your poison or maybe redemption is your choice. Whatever I shall still go on writing about organic food and wine.
