Presents for the Organic Gardener in Your Life

Dec 1, 2001 - © Deborah Turton

For those of us with a sense of humor, might I suggest either a bucket of worms and a worm bin. One year my children gave my parents a bucket of worms wrapped up in pretty paper and a worm bin. The actual worms are much more effective than a mail in certificate. Or if worms aren’t your style, how about one of those poopets. It’s a statue made of deodorized manure. They were a big hit at Christmas a few years ago. http://www.amishsoil.com/amish_soil_poop... http://www.gardengazebo.com/Poopets.htm

And last but not least. a Gift certificate to a favorite nursery or catalog. What’s the point of building up all this great soil if you don’t have anything to put in it?
