In addition to over 4,500 varieties of roses in the garden along the Willamette River, it has the "1860 Black Republican Cherry Tree," which is the largest cherry tree in Oregon.


Corvallis Rose Garden, Avery Park
The Corvallis Rose Garden at Avery Park is just a part of this 75 acre public park. There are 250 varieties in 1,200 bushes in the East, West, Memorial and old Rose Gardens.

The Asahel Bush House historic house includes a rose garden with roses brought west by pioneers, and a Victorian greenhouse.

The Martha Springer Botanical Garden is located behind the Sparks Center along Mill Race, and includes a rose garden along State Street.


Shore Acres State Park
The Shore Acres State Park Botanical Garden includes a rose garden among its many special gardens.

The Jackson & Perkins Test and Display Garden is a delightful place to visit with the added benefit that if you can't make it to Oregon for a tour, you can order enough rose bushes from this mail order nursery, to start your own rose garden.

Sue, thanks for sharing all of these Rose Gardens of Oregon. Roses are one of my favorite flowers. I would love to see the International Rose Test and Sunken Rose Gardens. They are beautiful, I know ...
