Emirs, led by Aladin's rival, Osmino, have meanwhile been plotting to overthrow the government. They collaborate with the knights to disrupt Aladin's intended execution of the latter. OK, pay close attention. Armando elects to fight on the side of Aladin, which so shames his uncle that Adriano and the knights change sides, too. Collectively, they defeat the emirs and slay Osmino. Grateful for their help at securing his kingdom, Aladin releases the French knights for good, and blesses his daughter's marriage in the bargain.
