Closer Look at Coupons, Discounts, & Sales: Clothing

Last week I gave an introduction to the site that I maintain on Internet Shopping Coupons. Since then I have had a number of responses about these coupons (and many well-wishes for speedy recovery, which I deeply appreciate). For this article I want to focus on the over 40 sites that I have listed in the Apparel, Shoes, & Accessories section. I wish I could cover them all, but that would be impossible. You need to explore these bargain sites for yourself. I counted discounts listed and found that 20 of the sites have sales, clearances, and special "web" prices. 16 of the banners list $$ off coupons. These are anywhere from $5 off to $30 off. One site is offering 30% off, while another is offering 100% rebate. A few sites are offering a free gift. Still my favorite discount is the 11 sites that offer Free Shipping.

Designer Couture House is listed because they have a Current Sale and a Clearance Center. There is no coupon or discount with this site. But the savings can be pretty substantial if you are into designer clothes. They have both men and women clothing with everything from belts to pants, to jackets to suits, to ties. They carry Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, and much more. This site is a little pricey for my taste but I did find a nice Istante jacket for $149 (regular $340). I wonder if I could find that same jacket at KMart?

Earth Speaks Organic Fashion is a site that offers organic clothing for women(that they design and manufacture themselves). Everything they sell is below their retail price, plus they have a closeout section at the bottom of each category. Prices are very good and with the discount coupon and FREE SHIPPING these items are a great buy.

Skipping down a few banners you will come to Shoebuy.com . With over 200 brands, and 10% off and Free Shipping; this is a site you can't go wrong. Even though they have a Deal of the Day, I have never found anything outstanding there. My best purchases came when I knew exactly what I was looking for and compared it with the price from my local shoe store. ShoeBuy usually is pretty close to their best price. Another advantage of ShoeBuy is their selection- if there is a shoe that you can't find- they will usually have it.
