Since I recently changed careers and headed back into "Corporate America", I decided I need to make myself more marketable. I found there are many Jason's in this world (well, not quite like my nephew Jason, he is unique in many others ways but that's a different article). This is even truer in the technology field that I have wandered into. Every time I step into a new work situation at my present job I am amazed at the intelligence of those around me. It's almost like God decided to put extra brain power into the youth of today.
So as I registered for my Masters in Project Management program, which begins in August, I find that I have 4 obstacles: Business Finance, Business Law, Statistics, and a GMAT. And I have 3 months to complete them. If I can pull this off, I think they should just give me the project management degree, because that will be some fancy project management.
Fortunately, I am in a employment situation that will pay for my classes. I just have to pay for my books. That sounded great to me, until I got the bill for my first batch of encyclopedias- $200 for 2 books that I will use for 8 weeks. And next year, they're changing the text. The books could have cost me twice as much as the class.
Fortunately for me, I know how to shop. And shopping for textbooks is no different. I have found the greatest site for textbook shopping! There are five reasons I feel this site is the best:
1) They are personable
2) They have a wonderful selection of textbooks (and had both of the ones I needed for over 50% off).
