Watch Out! Everyone's Selling Love!

This year I have noticed more businesses attempting to jump on the Valentine band wagon than ever before. While traveling the 30 miles to work, I have counted 6 businesses that are offering advice on what I should buy my true love to display the depth of my affection. First, the sign at Sagebrush steak reads, "Get her what she really wants for Valentine's Day, a gift certificate". The Citgo gas station has above their pump, "Give her the card that really matters, a gas card from Citgo." From Sounds Familiar record store you'll read on their banner, "Say it with love, buy her the latest from the Groovie Ghoulies". The car wash has a sign that reads simply, "How much do you love her? Car wash gift certificates here." The only sign that is geared toward the female shopper is from the Pine Box furniture store. It reads, "Let him relax on Valentine's Day. Living Room outfits half price. Lounge chair included." And the last, which I refuse to comment on, is from the local pet store the sign reads, "Give your dog a Valentine bone". I know that most of these ads are geared toward men, and since I belong to that gender, this article will as well. What should you be buying your sweetheart, the person who you have decided to share your life with (at least for this moment). What can you buy her that will tell her that she is the most special person in the whole world? My answer, "Nothing!" "What!" you say, "I come to you for regular advice on shopping and you give me nothing!" That's right. If you're looking to buy her a thing to show your love, you won't be able to do it. It's not what you buy, it's how you present it that counts. This is your ability to show her how special she is. Make Valentine's Day special. Let's start with jewelry. Why go your local jeweler and buy something that anyone else could purchase. Buy your Valentine handcrafted one-of-a-kind jewelry from http://www.brooksjewelry.com or http://www.barrykronen.com. The offer gorgeous pieces at fair market price. Now I know some of you readers are a bit tighter budget than others. You can also fine quality hand-crafted jewelry at great prices when you shop at http://www.winspearcollection.com. Don't just buy your love any old box of candy from the drugstore. Buy her a Chocolate Lovers Dream from GiftBaskets.com or click on the link below:
