The one major problem with buying a home on the Internet is that many of the realtors do not have the staff or time to keep their site updated. Therefore they get around to it about once a year or two. Once you find a house, you will want to notify the realtor directly.

One great tool that restored my faith in the value of Internet to the real estate market is found at MSN's Home Advisor. Click on the sidebar that says: Send eMail of New Homes. They will send you an email when a house is listed that meets your criteria!
