When you can't swap or barter for ad space, it's time to buy. Search our database for a newsletter that attracts the same market you desire, then view the details of that newsletter to see if the owner has offered to sell ad space. Click here.

Write articles

Write a Press Release
If you have a newsletter that speaks to a certain target audience with timely, correct and accurate information, then let the media know by presenting them with your media announcement. Click here.

Exchange links
Simply put you can increase your visibility online by exchanging links with other websites that serve the same market with complimentary information and/or products.

Word of Mouth
What I have done is implemented a system where visitors to my site can recommend the page they are viewing to a friend or colleague by clicking "Recommend This Webpage" link and filling in a very short form. Click here to recommend this page you are currently viewing.

Signature Files
When replying to email always include a signature file. This file is will automatically attach itself to your outgoing messages and should include a reason [benefits] for subscribing to your newsletter.

In plain view
If gaining numerous subscribers is a top priority then you should add a signup form on all pages on your website/s. The downfall of this is that you will increase subscribers to your list but some of them will merely be people wasting your time by seeing what will happen when they play with your signup box. I speak from experience. I had increased my subscribers but I also increased the number of bogus email subscribers. They are ways around this and I am implementing an automatic system that should not let this happen.

Plain and simple
Within your newsletter, state the following - "If you've found this newsletter useful, please forward it to friends and/or colleagues." Within your newsletter should be instructions on how to subscribe.
