Moving with the media to draw people to your website

It is a common fact that people will go online to find out more information about a highly publicized media event. To succeed you need to make your business known and hopefully do it inexpensively. Here is a trick worth trying to get people to visit your website. Build new pages focused on information about a media event, new fad or graze and surround it with compact and highly persuasion content about your product or service. Some search engines will index your webpage in one or two days and you should submit your new webpage to those as soon as possible. When a person comes to read about the latest media event they will also see what you have to offer on either side of the webpage.

"The internet becomes a busy place with people looking for information about an event announcement or a highly publicized media story. Capture your piece of that market by focusing on what phrase you think people will use to find that media story or event."

Pay attention to what is happening in newspapers, television or magazines. What are the top stories?

Holidays are another way to draw quick traffic to your website. Why not create a page that explains the origin of the holiday and other pertinent details? When a person is searching for holiday deals they will hopefully find you since you are now the authority on that holiday by supplying information about it. While you have them at your site, show them what you have to offer with a few well placed links or banners that will intice them to dig deeper within your website.

If you want to know what phrases people such as yourself are using to find information try the following websites. The words or phrases you see should give you an idea of what words to use on your website. You will be shown a new set of searches every 15 seconds.
