In case you've been living in a box for the past few weeks, allow me to inform you of an important upcoming event: Valentines Day is February 14. Yes, same as last year. And the year before that.

Ohioans got a taste for the stuff quickly; by 1845 the annual production was over 300,000 gallons. By 1860, Ohio led the nation in the production of wine.
