The Obsessive Compulsive and Spectrum Disorders Association (OCSDA) of California will be holding its annual conference May 7 to 9, 1998, at the Hilton Universal City and Towers, Universal City, California.

Personal Experience at OCD Conferences

I am not connected with the OCSDA. I'm not even from California, but after hearing wonderful things the last couple years, I do plan to attend the conference for the first time this year. I'll share some of the things I learn right here next month.

I have attended two Obsessive Compulsive Foundation (OCF) conferences. The OCF is a national organization that provides advocacy and education about OCD. These conferences helped me understand a very confusing illness. Meeting others with OCD gave me hope for recovery.

This year the national OCF conference will be in Washington, D.C. in July. I'll be there and I'll tell you more about that conference later. Or go to http://www.ocfoundation.org/ocf1120a.htm for information right now.
