is another piece for my New England Village display. Since I've saved time and money, I feel like celebrating and enjoying my own special treasures. I put my classic holiday music on, light the tree and slowly unwrap each piece placing it on one of the three shelves. One shelve is the town scene, with shops, carriages and busy towns people, the second is the rural farm scene, house, barn and children playing, the third is the nature shelve with trees, deer, ducks, foxes, wolves and a moose. My New England Village almost comes to life as each piece is added. I visualize what Christmas was like in New England in the 1800s and through my displays I'm magically taken back to that time. It feels great to allow myself some imagination and playtime after all the Holiday shopping is done.
