Fate intervened and Karen and her sister, Kristine Noonan, RN, are now providing "security necklaces" to the crew of a Hollywood movie-in-the-making. The movie, "Manna from Heaven", is set in Buffalo, NY. This happens to be the home-base of Allnurse.com, a web/mail order catalog company selling exclusively to nurses. Allnurse was founded to aid in restoring the public image of nurses to that of educated professionals. The movie is being produced and directed by another sister-owned company, Five Sisters Productions, of Santa Monica, California. The "five Burton sisters" are also Buffalo natives. The movie stars Shirley Jones and Frank Gorshin, with an impressive supporting cast including Louise Fletcher, Lee Grant, Jill Eikenberry, Shelly Duvall, Phil LaMarr, Mark Ethan and others. Per Roger Burton of Five Sisters Productions, "With so many people milling around the location sites we are finding it hard to discern our crew members from interested onlookers. The "security" jewelry will solve that problem, as the beaded glass and wooden necklaces will allow us to discern our crew members on first sight." Karen and Kristine, founders of Allnurse.com, knew without any doubt that their unique necklaces would meet the needs of nurses. However, looking forward to seeing their company name in the credits of a Hollywood movie was something that they never imagined would happen!
