When time is up and the winner has been declared, we toast the champion with root beer floats and ice cream if the kids have helped. It could be something stronger, if preferred, among consenting adults. Congratulate yourselves on being earth-friendly pest controllers.

Well, there you have it - how to form a Neighborhood Gardening Co-op. It gives your immediate neighborhood the feel of a small town in an earlier time. A comfort level develops when working and sharing with those who live around you that makes any neighborhood feel more secure. When we feel more secure, we are more open to new ideas and new people because we know we are not alone. In this day and age, that feels pretty good.
