to even attend as a spectator? Reznor's not known as a natural smoozer in the industry. He has a well deserved reputation as a man who does things his way and the industry and record companies be damned. The obvious answer is, of course, with a new album coming out after almost five years, and a younger audience to recapture, the major publicity isn't a thing to be sneezed at, even with the beautifully chiseled Reznor nose. The fans who got older along with NIN will be there automatically to give the new improved NIN a twirl, but the younger fan base now gets their daily music fix intravenously from hookup to MTV.
Here's hoping the performance goes well and NIN will be, if not the hit of the evening, at least the awesome surprise of the evening...whether Reznor bares his butt or not. Don't hold your breath on that one either.
