So I guess you're finding that you're moving more towards electronic music now?
"That's where my interest is, but I've always had the electronic thing happening, even when I did Bluespeak with Greg for example, I had a thing called Nexus and that was totally electronic and pretty wild. While acoustic jazz and acoustic piano was a really cool thing to do, the electronic thing was really only rarely. We used to hire the art gallery and do it once a year or something and that was just to keep it alive, but now its changed and there's a real emphasis on the electronic thing, so I found I can do more of it live. I mean I dig the acoustic jazz thing, you know its sort of a traditional thing in many respects and there's lots of room to do cool things within that, but to draw a line between that and the possibilities inherent in contemporary technology...well... my heart is really in the electronic thing, so that's where its happening."
