The Jets Are Getting DefensiveCoach Edwards has arrived and has brought with him a new, relaxed attitude. He is pushing all the right buttons and, although he is easy going, he commands the respect of his players and coaches. Edwards may run easier practices and have fewer draconian rules than the Tuna once did, but he still demands hard work from his players and gets it. The Jets had just one penalty last week and lead the NFL in takeaways (33) and turnover ratio (+22) -- that's the sign of a well-coached team. So perhaps the Dolphins were right. Perhaps all the talk of hexes and tealeaves was not just sour grapes. The Jets do appear destined for a magical playoff run.
