Faith is steadfast belief in that which is unseen and unknowable. In light of recent events, it is ever more important to have a deep faith at the foundation of our spiritual being, a faith in something greater and more intelligent than we are.
Metaphysics tells us that there really is no good or evil, only life energy, or God. Our perceptions and illusions of outer events are what we label good or evil, yet in truth, if God is all then all must be part of God. Creation as well as destruction, life as well as death, joy as well as suffering. Yet this "neutral" Godforce has also given us free will to use it as we desire. Some desire to use God's energy for good. Others, like the terrorists, use it for evil. That is their choice. That is their free will in action. Physics teaches us that what comes around goes around, that for every action there is a reaction. Metaphysics teaches us the same, as when Jesus said "Do unto others..." and "As you believe, so you shall see..." Perhaps this is our opportunity to learn that what any one person does has an effect on every other person. Spread love and love will catch fire. Spread hate and it will too be amplified. We know that in the realm of spirit, there is no death, only life. Physics tells us that nothing ever dies, only transforms into a different state of energy. But most importantly, faith tells us that though we have seen evil, violence, death, we must still hold fast to that which is good, that which is God, for in the end, that is all there is. Will we choose to give in to the illusion, the fear, the outer perception? Or stay true to our faith in what lies beyond the veil of illusion, where truth reigns supreme? Go To Page: 1
