6. How are you using your time, talent, energy, money, education? 7. Are you willing to 'act as if,' to change your mindset from frustration to fulfillment? Comfort zones are often stumbling blocks. Think about it. 8. Have you chosen to learn and to practice affirmation and visualization? They're fun and they work, when you know the secret. And you're learning the secret now, which is no secret! 9. Are you curious? Do you seek to learn continually? 10. How's your sense of humor? Are you laughing at least ten times a day? 11. Do you understand--and use--the power of your imagination? 12. Do you take action when necessary or do you withdraw in fear or disinterest? 13. Are you a help or a hindrance in your community? If you're not helping, you're a hindrance! 14. Learn to smile. There is power in the sincere smile. Use it often, even when you're alone. 15. Open yourself up to receive. Expect manifestation. Don't just believe in miracles; rely on them. 16. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude. This may be the most important aspect of affirmative prayer. 17. Spend time daily in meditation of some kind. Your choice. Even atheists have an inner life. Find it. 18. Cast your bread upon the water. That simply means you are willing to be of service when asked, if you can. Open your heart and pocketbook. Give and it will be given to you in return. It's the Law! 19. Practice forgiveness, and include yourself in that practice. Forgiveness is more for the forgiver than the forgiven. Unforgiveness is poison. Forgiveness releases that poison. It's good for the physical, emotional, and spiritual health. 20. Finally, understand that affirmative prayer is about love, not about special favor. Again, from the Bible: God makes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust alike. You receive, not because you're better than others or smarter than others; you receive because you know and practice the Law. And that Law is the Law of Love. It works for all who use it wisely. The Law is simple: what you put out, you receive back, multiplied. That includes money, time, talent, thoughts, anger, malice, unforgiveness--everything. When you release, you make room for more. Be certain you are releasing that which can be of service, not a source of destruction, pain, or resentment.

Consider all of the above with care. These are not some sort of doctrine or dogma, just ways and ideas to help you change your own consciousness. That, after all, is the whole idea behind affirmative prayer. And the abundance mindset.
