The Three-Minute New Thought Workout

1. Identify: what do you want to accomplish? 2. Write: put it down on paper. 3. Visualize: see it in your mind's eye, or however you see internally. 4. Feel: add emotion, preferably laughter. 5. Mobilize: swing into action; do some small (or large) thing each day that moves you forward.

Be willing to do whatever it takes. The universe asks for just a little willingness on your part.

And remember: keep your word. It's the key to all success on any level.

Simple enough? Of course.

"The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you choose, what you think, and what you do is who you become." Heraclitus

Joy Is Your True Success

"Thought shows you a world of its own making. What you see is a product of your thought, not external reality. Thought fools you into thinking you see the world as it is. You are, in fact, reacting to a world shaped by your own thinking. Until you perceive thought as the creator of your experience, it controls your life." David Bohm, physicist

We choose, on a moment to moment basis, to suffer or to be happy. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

Decide to make happiness the top priority of your life. Happiness affects your health, your wealth, your relationships. Your happiness is a gift to the world. Gandhi said, "Be the change you would see in the world."

Each time we decide, the universe moves to support us in that decision. When we choose to make happiness the top priority of our life, we:

1. Become more vulnerable, more unmasked, more authentic. When we are more authentic, we

2. Become less judgmental, more forgiving. When we are more forgiving, we

3. Become more trusting, more accepting. When we are more trusting, we

4. Become more grateful. When we are more grateful, we

5. Become more playful, less serious. And when we are less serious, we

6. Become more joyful, hence, more successful. (Above six benefits adapted from list in Barry Neil Kaufman's Happiness Is A Choice. Thanks, Barry.)

Ultimately, choosing happiness places us squarely in the present moment. Happiness does not reside in the past or future, only right here and right now.

We can choose to make happiness the top priority any time we want. We can, but will we? Now is the time to decide. We never know when the day will be our last.
