Creating and Recreating Your Life: The Simplest Way of All

(Just to be clear, whenever I write these articles, I first go within and ask Spirit to guide me. I have a desire to make certain that what I am writing about New Thought helps people manifest success and blessing in their lives. Religion, metaphysics, spirituality are all fun studies, but ultimately, practical manifestation is the real goal. Love is the director. I open to that constantly.)

I found this somewhere without attribution, but it serves well to open this article:

"When you know what you want, all you have to do is hold it, feel it, let it go. Spirit picks up your signal and, if you stay out of the way, manifests it in a way, a time, a place for the good of all concerned."

Good enough? Clear enough? Great. Then let's get right to it. Here are six simple steps to getting exactly what you want. Keep in mind I said simple, though not necessarily easy. Why? We have nasty little mental habits that stand between us and our dreams and goals and relationships. This process not only will help you get what you want, but with practice, will break down those stubborn emotional, intellectual, and even spiritual habits that keep you bound.

Remember, the key is practice--everyday, multiple times each day. If you find you're not getting what you want right away, be patient. The universe is setting it up for the good of all concerned, not just you. The universe will not step on the toes of others to give you what you want. But it will arrange for everyone involved to get the best possible. So, be patient, and dream well. First,

1. Breathe: Breathing helps to clear the mind. It prepares the way. Do it consciously.

2. Decide: This may be the most difficult step. Sometimes we have no concept of what we really want. We need to get clear on that. Just start with a "felt sense." The rest can follow. Make certain you write down not only what you want, but your feelings about it as well. Writing helps solidify. And clears out mental cobwebs. (Highly recommended: Write It Down, Make It Happen by Henriette Klauser - c. 2000)

3. Hold: Get a picture in your mind, get it as clearly as possible. Do this as often as you think about it.

4. Feel: Imagination plays a major part here. Getting a feel for what you want makes it more real. Don't be afraid to feel the negatives, either. They can be very telling.
